About Us

Since 2004 BulkMan has been a family owned junk removal services company in Tampa and surrounding areas. Our mission is to handle bulk trash in the most efficient and cost effective manner while providing impeccable customer service. Recently we merged with a Moving company to extend those services to residents of the communities we provide junk removal to. Most of the customers that signed up at the start of BulkMan are still with us today and shows the family experience we have created for the past two decades.

At the very beginning of BulkMan around 2005 we joined the Bay Area Apartment Association and couldn’t have made a better decision. BAAA management staff are some of the best people around. They have helped us build long standing relationships within the multifamily industry substantially. As a recent lighthouse sponsor for the past few years we try to be involved as much as possible donating to charity as well as fundamental associations like the Apartment Political Action Committee.

Junk Removal FAQs

If there’s nothing to pick up on a regular weekly service day is it charged?

For weekly service if there’s nothing to pick up its recorded as a “0” and not charged

Do you take paint?

Yes, we take paint. It is scheduled and billed separately since paint has to be taken to a special environmental disposal facility.

Do you take before and after photos?

With the use of our APP, our drivers take before and after pictures of each pickup as well as having a GPS Marker, Date, and Time Stamp

What areas do you service?

Can you pick up trash from a broken compactor?

Trash in front of the out of service compactor can be scheduled and billed separately.

During a trash-out, do you remove everything from the unit ?

All items from a trash out are removed including shower curtains, drawer items, stove/dishwasher/fridge etc.

How big are your junk removal trailers?

Our trailers are 20 cubic yards equivalent to a roll off and larger than our competitors.

Can you bring eviction material to the property line?

By law we will bring material to the property line when legally necessary. After sufficient time for the resident to obtain belongings we will be scheduled to come back and collect the rest of the material.

Can we have specific pick up days during the week?

A specific pickup day or multiple days can be set when starting on weekly service. Some of our current customers have us pickup a day or two before their compactor is pulled to ensure consistent service from the waste/compactor hauler.

Along with bulk furniture, do you pick up trash as well?

All household trash should be thrown in compactors/dumpsters but if trash pickup is needed its added to the production.

Do you recycle materials?

90% of the material picked up is recycled

Can we have multiple pick up days in the same week?

Yes, if the schedule is for Mondays and pickup was completed entirely, you can call us to come back if more production occurred after Monday.

Are you licensed and insured?

We are fully licensed and insured FDOT/FMCSA/DOT

How long will my move take?

The time each move takes varies based on situations including the size of the home, what floors you are moving to and from or elevator wait times. A typical one bedroom home may take a few hours while a three bedroom home may take 6 to 7 hours or more. All jobs are completed the same day unless certain circumstances prevent it such as an apartment not being ready in time and overnight storage is needed.

What is your pricing for our move?

We offer our moving services at a very competitive rate. We charge hourly and all of our pricing is up front with no hidden fees.

What are your payment options?

We accept payment by credit/debit card or cash.

Do you offer discounts?

We proudly offer discounts to our brave service members. We also offer discounts at apartment complexes we service and partner with, so please inquire.

Are my items insured?

We offer the industry standard Released Value Coverage or Basic Carrier Liability at $.60 per pound for all items. Full value coverage is not included and may be purchased on a case by case basis.

Will you pack my items for me?

For the most part, we prefer customers to pack their own belongings in boxes or bags as needed. This prevents items being misplaced and also ensures our customers have an easier time unboxing at their new homes. Arrangements may be made for us to pack for you on a case by case basis.
